Management Team

Francis Albert - President, Founder & Chief Architect

Founder and key visionary for the company, Francis Albert drives innovation through the technical direction and organization of Facilis’ solutions. Prior to opening Facilis’ doors in 2003, he served as a Storage Architect and Consulting Engineer at Avid Technology and has also held engineering positions at RCA, G.E. and Raytheon. Francis received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maine.


James McKenna - Vice President Sales & Marketing

As Facilis’ chief product evangelist, James McKenna provides advice and expert guidance to help facility managers expand their business. He started with Facilis in 2004, and was tasked with bringing the original TerraBlock product to market. Before coming to Facilis, he was Director of Engineering at PostWorks NY and Product Designer for Workgroups at Avid Technology. In keeping with his creative side, James has also worked as an editor on various television productions, broadcast promos and documentaries in Boston and New York.


Shane Rodbourn - Sr. Vice President & General Manager

An integral senior executive of the Facilis team since 2010, Shane Rodbourn oversees the day to day operation of the business.  Prior to joining Facilis, he was Vice President at Avid Technology heading up worldwide teams focusing on Customer Success. Shane also led multiple Engineering teams as VP of Media Product Engineering at Avid introducing products such as ISIS and Interplay. Additionally, he acted in various technical roles at Andover Controls, Pegasystems, Putnam Investments and First Data in the past. Shane attended Rochester Institute of Technology and holds a Bachelor of Science degree.


Joe Lowe - Vice President of Engineering

Joe is in charge of Facilis Development and Engineering.  Joe has been building system extensions and file system technology for years, culminating in a focused skill set built on decades of real world experience supporting real world software running on millions of systems.  Joe leads a team of developers in Beaverton, Oregon.


Kelly Taranto - Sr. Sales & Marketing Manager

Kelly leads a team focused on developing sales leads, sales reporting, and communication of outbound marketing to a Reseller Sales Channel.  She works on marketing campaigns (SEO, SEM, Email, Google Analytics), and designs graphics for marketing collateral.  Kelly is the Social Media liaison, works with a PR team, manages the SalesForce CRM database, coordinates domestic and international sales trade shows and events, and is responsible for Service Renewal contracts.


Matthew Mullen - Senior Systems Engineer, QA & Technical Support Lead

Matt is responsible for the day-to-day Quality Assurance testing and also Technical Support escalations. He has a strong industry background working for Avid Technology and Boris FX.  Matt has a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Fitchburg State University where he majored in Communications/Film.


Cindy Albert - Chief Financial Officer

A core member of the Facilis team since the company’s inception in 2003, Cindy Albert oversees all Facilis’ financial and personnel operations including accounts payable/receivables, sales administration and human resources.  She regularly assists with behind the scenes management and has proved an integral asset to the team over the years – steadily improving revenue, margin and operating profit. Cindy studied at the University of Maine, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree and Framingham State College, where she received a Masters of Arts.


Sean McGrath - Finance Manager

Primary responsibilities including managing AP, billing, payroll, policies and procedures, general ledger, month end close, employee benefits, 401k plan, human resources.   Sean held other Finance positions at Long Term Solutions, Fleetmatics and McGrath Companies.  Sean attended Bentley University and has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Economics and Finance.
