 With The Facilis Shared File System, deliver data for 4K film color grading to low-bitrate craft editorial in a scaled environment. The Facilis HUB 8 is not a standard NAS (Network Attached Storage) device. Like all our servers it combines the best attributes of NAS and SAN (Storage Area Network) in an optimized, software-defined network with automatic load balancing of clients across multiple server IP addresses.

With every HUB video production server, you get the Facilis Client and Admin Console. The console gives you total control over your shared storage environment with a user-friendly dashboard of the Facilis project volume structure and Shared File System. The Facilis Console lets you create volumes of any size and change them on the fly, assign basic permissions and advanced access control that’s levels beyond normal NAS functionality.

You will also have the capability to develop a custom workflow with our FastTracker Asset Management software, which comes with all Facilis servers. It is the best way to index, tag, search, and access your video, audio, and still format media, transcribe speech, use AI to tag files, copy, move and proxy to lower bitrate formats. The FastTracker MAM gives you a system to develop a custom workflow without the bloat of a traditional asset management system.
